Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann targeted to become Manchester City's next manager

Leipzig coach, Julian Nagelsmann, is reportedly being targeted to become Manchester City's next manager if Pep Guardiola leaves.

Guardiola's future continues to be in discussion after the Catalan coach enters the final season of his current contract.

Sports Mole reports that the former Barcelona boss has recently put aside plans to return to Camp Nou but is unwilling to sign a new contract with City immediately.


City have prepared a list of potential replacements for Guardiola if he leaves at the end of his fifth season with this club.

Nagelsmann is one that is being targeted. However, according to Sport Bild , The Citizens must have the courage to pay 10 million euros if they want to recruit the German coach.

Manchester United are also said to be eyeing Nagelsmann, who became the youngest coach in history who entered the Champions League semifinals last season.
