- West Ham United manager David Moyes and two of his players, Issa Diop and Josh Cullen, have contracted COVID-19, the club reported on its official website. The news was released by the Premier League club as they were making preparations to play the English League Cup match against Hull City at London Stadium. "The manager and the two players immediately left the stadium and have returned home," said a club statement.

West Ham said the three figures had no symptoms, and assistant manager Alan Irvine would take over the team for the fight Hull. Diop and Cullen were supposed to be played for that match.
